About This Disease

Eczema (Ekakushta) is an inflammatory skin condition causing dry, itchy, and inflamed patches. Ayurveda links it to Pitta-Kapha dosha imbalance and toxin accumulation in the blood.

• Dry, cracked, and scaly skin
• Red or brown patches
• Small raised bumps
• Thickened skin (from scratching)
• Raw, sensitive, swollen skin
• Oozing or crusting
