About This Disease

Sinusitis is inflammation of the sinuses causing congestion and discomfort. Ayurveda views it as Kapha-Vata imbalance blocking the sinus passages with excess mucus.

• Nasal congestion and thick discharge
• Reduced sense of smell
• Cough and throat irritation
• Headache and ear pressure
• Fatigue and bad breath
• Fever (in acute cases)

• Viral, bacterial, or fungal infections
• Allergies and hay fever
• Nasal polyps or deviated septum
• Weakened immune system
• Environmental irritants (smoke, pollution)
• Dental infections
• Weather changes
